New York City is LIM College's campus. And moving around the city is affordable and easy! Hear how some of our students like to make their way around NYC.
Commuting Around NYC
Living in an active city like New York, I feel like there's lots to offer. There's always something new every day whether that is new fashion stores to explore, different restaurants to try, you can easily walk or take the train and it's easily accessible to you. So campus experience at LIM is great. We have great sightseeing opportunities like Times Square, Grand Central is a prime pub where most of us hang out or go for a quick run. You don't need a car to go around in New York City. Everything is in walkable distance. You can walk around or if you want to return to any part of NYC you have public transportation available. The public transportation system here in New York City is one of the best in the world. You don't have to worry about spending gas to drive around. You can easily take the train, the bus, or you could even walk. Even though I live in New Jersey, it's very easy for me to commute and get into the city. Living at the FOUND Study Residence Hall has made life 10 times easier. The commute from the residence hall to school is only a 5- to 10-minute walk. So I really appreciate the close proximity that there is from the residence hall to the campus.
